10 Essential things to know about car transport!

  1. All vehicles must be completely empty of all loose and personal items for transport. Properly fitted baby seats and the factory fitted tyre and tools are allowed.
  2. Automoves can transport non-driving and damaged cars but you need to let us know at the time of quote or booking as special conditions apply.
  3. It is best if you can disable any alarms or immobilisers prior your car transport.
  4. Let us know if your vehicle has any mechanical issues or special quirks. It lets your vehicle arrive on time and stops our team from going crazy trying to start your car.
  5. It doesn't really matter how much fuel you have in your car but please leave us enough to move it, preferably about ¼ of a tank.
  6. Transit times are accurate but not guaranteed. You can rest assured that Automoves will work with you to have your vehicle arrive at its destination at a time that suits you.
  7. Australian agriculture needs protecting… All vehicles being transported into Western Australia or Tasmania are subject to AQIS quarantine inspection, to avoid delays and additional fees please ensure your vehicle is cleaned prior to departure. Information on quarantine conditions can be found at www.quarantinedomestic.gov.au
  8. For your own peace of mind and security you should have someone available at both ends to sight and sign for the vehicle.
  9. Payment must be made before transport but we make it as easy as possible with multiple payment options – Automoves accepts Visa, Master Card and Direct Deposits.
  10. Relax Automoves has you covered.
